Wildcat Café & Volunteer Training Tomorrow Morning!
Beverly Elementary families are invited to join us tomorrow morning, Friday, September 25, for two opportunities designed to help our families stay connected, informed, and involved in the life of our school!
☕ Wildcat Café — 9:00 a.m.
Our Wildcat Café will begin at 9:00 a.m. Representatives from the Randolph County Schools Technology Departmentwill be on hand to provide in-person assistance to families.
The topics for this Wildcat Café were selected in direct response to the many requests we have received from families asking for additional help accessing and using the digital platforms that connect home and school. We heard you, and we are excited to provide an opportunity for families to receive hands-on, in-person support!
Families can receive help with:
Logging into the WVEIS Portal to view their child’s attendance record and grades
Downloading and setting up the Apptegy App on their device(s)
Getting connected to Rooms so they can communicate with their child’s teacher
Whether you need help getting started or simply have a question, this is a great opportunity to receive one-on-one support and make sure you have access to the tools that help keep you connected to your child’s education.
🐾 Volunteer Training — 10:00 a.m.
Immediately following the Wildcat Café, we will offer Volunteer Training at 10:00 a.m.
This training is for anyone who would like to volunteer in our classrooms or become an approved chaperone who is certified to ride the school bus and accompany our students on school and classroom field trips.
Our volunteers are an important part of the Beverly Elementary community, and we are grateful for the family and community members who give their time to support our Wildcats!
These sessions are brought to you by the Wildcat Leadership Team and our school-wide Title I program ~ family engagement.
At Beverly Elementary, we believe meaningful family engagement begins with listening. When our families tell us what they need, we want to respond with opportunities, resources, and support that strengthen the partnership between home and school. Together, we can make a difference for every Wildcat!
